Online TrainingDuring this unprecedented time globally, Prison Fellowship International has been exploring new ways to serve the association. We are now excited to introduce a series of live online trainings specifically for PF National Ministries, to take place between June and August 2020. Training Schedule
Samuel N’TCHO joined the national PF ministry in 1992 as a volunteer while serving as high school Biology teacher. For a long time Samuel has been involved in Evangelical Youth Ministry leadership in his native country (Cote d’Ivoire) as well as for all Africa. Very soon the leadership of Prison Fellowship Cote d’Ivoire noticed that with his background, Samuel could help to revitalize the ministry that was dropping down. Then they appointed Samuel in a committee in charge of making PFCI much more effective.
In 1997, Samuel was elected Board Chairperson of the NM. In the meantime, the PF regional office based in Harare, Zimbabwe, decided to invite him to join them as a team member during their numerous visits to Francophone countries of Africa. This role as regional team member allowed Samuel to have a good knowledge of NMs and he started under the leadership of the Regional Director, Moffat Karambamuchero to provide support to existing NMs and to extend the PF ministry in many other countries.
In 2001, the PFI General Secretariat set up the concept of Regional Leadership Team (RST) to take care of NMs in different regions. Samuel was appointed as leader of the RST for the Francophone Africa Region.
Since his involvement with the PFI family, Samuel has attended multiple trainings at PFI Leadership Training Institute (LTI). He is certified from PFI’s “Odyssey Formation” and became Odyssey course facilitator.
In 2003, he is appointed PFI “Regional Coordinator for Francophone Africa” in a part-time base. After 20 years as a civil servant with the Ministry of Education of his country (Biology teacher in high school), in 2005, Samuel is recruited as full-time staff by PFI with the position title of Regional Envoy for Francophone Africa.
Currently, Samuel is The Regional Director for Francophone Africa after 2 years as Program Coordinator for all Africa (Francophone and Anglophone.)
Samuel was a Special Adviser to the Minister of Education in his country and has been decorated with the rank of knight of the national order for service rendered to the Ivorian School.
Married to Stephanie his wife since February 1987, Samuel is the father of two lovely daughters and grandfather of 3 adorable grandchildren.
