Jean Paul Ntwali

Jean Paul Ntwali supports National Ministries and program partners in Africa. Jean Paul brings a wealth of experience in social transformation, mental health, peacebuilding and restorative justice. His experience extends to collaborating with key stakeholders, including government ministries and development partners.

With a deep commitment to restorative justice, community empowerment and mental health advocacy, Jean Paul’s passions directly align with Prison Fellowship International’s mission.

Previously, Jean Paul has held significant leadership and management roles, including Chief Technical Advisor to the Ministry of National Unity and Civic Engagement in Rwanda, an Executive Leader in various civil society organizations. He is also  on the board of Association for Children’s Assistance, Better Future for Generations and Rwanda Psychological Society. He has experience leading programs focusing on mental health and psychosocial support, prisoner rehabilitation and reintegration, social cohesion, access to justice and human rights promotion.

Jean Paul holds a Master’s Degree in Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Management from Mount Kenya University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from the National University of Rwanda.
