Ashella Ndhlovu

Regional Director, Africa

Ashella Ndhlovu provides leadership oversight for Prison Fellowship International chartered affiliates in the Africa region. Using her skills in program management and capacity building support, Ashella helps National Ministries break the cycle of crime and transform the lives of prisoners and their families.

Ashella has been touched by the genuine love for Christ that prisoners portray once they have gone through Prison Fellowship International courses and their commitment to bring the Gospel back to their families and communities upon their release. By supporting children of prisoners, Ashella has seen how they can experience God’s practical love and be afforded opportunities to a better life.

Ashella brings experience from varied public and social justice organisations in Africa and Canada, including the Government of Zimbabwe, The Sexual Assault Rape Crisis Centre in Mississauga, Canada, Canadian Tire and Speak One Voice.

Ashella was awarded the African Women’s Public Service Fellowship by the Oprah Winfrey Foundation to study at New York University where she obtained an MPA in Public and Non-Profit Management and Policy. She also holds a Diploma in Biblical Studies.
