Shamimu lives in a brick dwelling in Malawi. Shamimu’s grandmother struggles to care for her as her uncle is in prison. As Shamimu’s sponsor, you help provide nutritious food, healthcare, and opportunities to experience God’s love. Because you care, she will be able to go to school and learn skills for a brighter future instead of going to work at a young age. Many girls in Malawi face the risk of an early marriage; seen as a financial burden to their families, nearly one in every ten girls are married off before they turn 15.
