Greg Pennoyer

Special Council to the Chief Executive Officer

Greg Pennoyer is an experienced strategist with a focus on supporting nonprofit organizations. He works closely with non-profit leadership teams to develop and implement charitable initiatives. His expertise includes brand development, building teams and boards, communication and donor relations, to help organizations grow, increase their impact and build long-term sustainability. 

Nonprofit organizations possess the potential to drive transformative change in communities globally, a phenomenon that Greg has observed directly. This experience informs his dedication to offering customized solutions that enable organizations to maintain and enhance their impact while remaining aligned with their fundamental mission. 

Previously, Greg has held leadership roles including Executive Director of Image Journal, Executive Director for the Canadian Roundtable for Philanthropy, Program Director for Cardus Institute’s Faith in Canada, Executive Director of the Humanitas Foundation and Vice President of Focus on the Family. 

Greg holds a Master of Arts in Public Policy from Regent University and completed advanced business programs in Executive Leadership and Strategic Planning at the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University. He resides in Hamilton, Ontario, with his wife, who co-founded Barfield Group with him.
