Redefining the Spirit of Our Age
Zeitgeist is a German word that translates to “the spirit of the time.” We are living in a world that is trying to define its zeitgeist in a post-religious sense, without a spirit. The current climate is marked by skepticism and distrust. Those in prison and their families are often on the receiving end of the highest levels of stigmatization and disillusionment that society has to offer.
By providing access to interventions and programs that share the hope of the Gospel, we are at the center of a movement to redefine the spirit of the age, bringing one of restoration, mercy and grace back to our time. Our work, in serving a segment of society that is forgotten at best and despised at worst, is inspired and empowered by Him and for Him. There is no better message to address the consequences of today’s zeitgeist of hopelessness, despair, fracture and division.
Much has been accomplished by God’s grace and so much more is yet to be done. We pray you read this and feel encouraged for all of the transformation you have enabled in the lives of prisoners, their families and victims of crime over the last year. Thank you for being on this journey with us.
