Best Practices Update

We're Back!

Thank you for your patience while Touchstone was on hiatus. During our intermission, our team has been researching and developing Best Practices to help you gain the maximum benefit from Touchstone.

In January, we will begin a series of Best Practices related to prison-focused restorative practices. As true Best Practices, these procedures will guide your ministry to effectively help prisoners, their families and victims repair the harm caused by the ripple of crime. Jonathan Derby, our in-house restorative justice authority, is authoring the first series on ways to strengthen relationships between children and their incarcerated parents.

Along with the Best Practice centerpiece, each issue will feature a roundup of news, activities, information, events to celebrate or other items from affiliates around the world. If your ministry has content that you would like to submit for consideration, please do so here. This content may also be published to PFI’s website or social media accounts.

Again, thank you for your patience. Come January, we hope you will find the new Best Practices well worth the wait. In the meantime,we hope you will be edified and encouraged by the exchange of news from your fellow affiliates around the world in this issue and in the December edition.
