Luis Bravo
Regional Manager, Latin America and Caribbean
Luis Bravo oversees Prison Fellowship International’s affiliates in Latin America and the Caribbean. Not only does he manage and evaluate program partnerships, but he also conducts capacity building initiatives and promotes prison ministry best practices. As a liaison between Prison Fellowship International and its national ministries, Luis minimizes cultural gaps and promotes a positive environment for networking opportunities and fellowship within the region.
Luis had the chance to engage with a Prison Fellowship International affiliate when doing prison ministry in his home country in his early twenties. Twenty years later and inspired by Jesus in Mattew 25:31-40, he considers his role at Prison Fellowship International as part of a personal calling. He contributes to the mission and vision by coaching, mentoring and empowering ministry leaders in his region.
Luis brings extensive experience working in the business process outsourcing and software industries. He specializes in learning and development, process improvement and capacity building.
Luis holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Thomas More University and resides with his wife and daughter in Nicaragua. In his spare time, Luis loves to play the bass guitar with his worship band and relax in nature with friends and family.
