Rodrick Zalimba
Africa Regional Manager
Rodrick Zalimba supports Prison Fellowship International’s Africa Regional Office, partnering with National Ministries across the continent to strengthen capacity, enhance program management, develop strategic partnerships and provide a range of support services. His extensive background in ministry fundraising, corporate governance, and administration equips him to elevate ministry effectiveness and sustainability.
Rodrick has served in this restorative mission for nearly two decades, and he is committed to advancing the Africa Arise: Own Your Future agenda with a particular focus on building resilient and sustainable ministries that contribute meaningfully to the global strategy of breaking the cycle of crime.
Previously, Rodrick worked in Malawi’s Ministry of Local Government before joining Prison Fellowship Malawi in 2006, where he served as Executive Director until this year. He has held multiple leadership roles since his student days at the University of Malawi and continues to volunteer in various community and church initiatives.
Rodrick received his Bachelor of Arts in Social Science, majoring in Sociology and Social Work, from the University of Malawi, as well as an International Diploma in Restorative Justice from Queen’s University in Canada. He resides in Balaka District in southern Malawi with his wife, Mathilda, who runs a family business, and their son and three daughters. Rodrick enjoys listening to music, playing guitar, spending time with family and engaging in outdoor sports.
