Greg Pennoyer
Major Gift Officer
Greg Pennoyer serves as Special Counsel to the CEO of Prison Fellowship International, where he cultivates enduring relationships with major patrons, primarily in Canada. In this role, he collaborates with the major gifts team to build and strengthen a community of major donors that are committed to the transformational work of PFI.
With more than three decades of experience, Greg brings a steady and relational approach shaped by his work at the intersection of faith, culture, public life and philanthropy. He believes deeply in the power of generosity to transform the lives of prisoners, their families and victims through a global network of ministry partners — helping ensure the work remains sustained, relational and far-reaching.
Throughout his career, Greg has served in senior leadership roles across a range of mission-driven organizations which have made a significant contribution to preparing Greg for the range of work at PFI. He was Executive Director of Image Journal, where he expanded its leadership team and strengthened its sustainability, and he co-founded and led the Canadian Roundtable
for Philanthropy, building a national platform for philanthropic leaders. Earlier, he founded and directed the Humanitas Foundation and held leadership roles with Focus on the Family Canada and the Centre for Cultural Renewal, contributing to initiatives at the intersection of faith and public life.
Greg holds a Master of Arts from Queen’s University and has completed advanced training in executive leadership and strategic planning. He lives in Hamilton, Ontario, with his wife and son, and enjoys time with family and the ongoing work of cultivating communities rooted in generosity and purpose.
