Veasna shares his transformative journey from anger and revenge to forgiveness and obedience. Through his participation in The Listener’s Way, Veasna encountered Jesus’ teachings, which profoundly changed his perspective on life and his actions. This testimony highlights the impact of faith and forgiveness in the most challenging circumstances.

I was in prison because of drug trafficking. Before joining The Listener’s Way, my life was controlled by revenge and anger. I often argued with my roommates and never listened to the room leader. Because of my behavior, everyone disliked me. By God’s grace, things began to change when I joined The Listener’s Way. Week by week, through the lessons, I started to know God. I learned how God forgives people, and I began to forgive others. I learned about sharing, and I started to practice it. I applied what the teacher taught, and my life began to change. Even my roommates and the room leader were surprised.

Through The Listener’s Way, I learned how to pray, how to encourage others, how to read the Bible, and how to listen carefully. Today, I am not the same person I was before. I am learning to forgive and to share with others. My anger no longer controls me. God is changing me. I pray that I will continue to obey God’s Word. When I am released, I hope to find a place to worship and to serve God. Veasna
