Faith Restores Lost Hearts | Malawi
Inside the walls of Mzimba and Ntchisi prisons in Malawi, lives are being transformed as participants learn to trust in Christ and walk in forgiveness through The Listener’s Way. Among them are Clifton and Charles, whose stories reveal the power of God’s love to restore even the most broken hearts.
Clifton, a prisoner at Mzimba prison, said The Listener’s Way gave him strength and hope during his five-year sentence. “Going through the Gospel of Luke brought me comfort, guidance, and a sense of purpose. It transformed my heart and mind, helping me let go of past hurts and bitterness.” He now sees the world in a new light and is determined to continue prioritizing his faith. “I’m living proof that transformation is possible.”
At Ntchisi Prison, Charles said The Listener’s Way helped him find peace after years of guilt and shame. “The words of the Bible spoke directly to my heart, offering forgiveness, love and redemption. Through the listening groups, I have deepened my understanding of God’s Word, learned to pray, forgive and love myself and others. I have come to understand that The Listener’s Way is a lifeline, connecting me with others who share my struggles and support me on my journey. Regardless of what comes my way, God`s Word will always be my faith’s foundation. It guides my decisions, shapes my relationships and gives me purpose. I’m grateful for the transformative power of scripture and want to share its impact with others.”
