Children of prisoners are more likely than their peers to struggle to access education and face stigma or neglect from their larger community. PromisePath® is a community-based program that provides essential support to children of prisoners and their caregivers by offering interventions in the areas of education assistance, community mentoring and spiritual resources.
The children of prisoners are among the most vulnerable and marginalized groups, which puts them at high risk of exploitation, abuse, neglect, child labor, and criminal behavior.
