Online Training

During this unprecedented time globally, Prison Fellowship International has been exploring new ways to serve the association. We are now excited to introduce a series of live online trainings specifically for PF National Ministries, to take place between June and August 2020.
Training Schedule

Dorestela Medina

Originally from Managua, Nicaragua, Central America. After graduating from high school, he became involved in the war fighting against the dictatorship in her country and served for sixteen years in the National Army and Ministry of the Interior in different positions. Her last position was as a prison supervisor in a region where the war took place.

Graduated in Educational Sciences and Post Graduates and Diplomados on Leadership, Organizational Management, Human Rights, Penitentiary Sciences, Assertive Communication and Restorative Justice. She is an International Coach Certified (ICC No 13746) and Master in business Coaching.

With extensive experience also working in Embassies and Non-Governmental Organizations and International Missions, such as Save The Children Sweden, Oxfam GB, CARE International, Central American Integration System (SICA) and the United Nations.

At God’s call, she joined twenty years ago to serve as a prison volunteer in her country and fifteen years ago she joined the Board of Directors of PF Nicaragua. Six years ago, she joined the PFI world team as Regional Director for Latin America, attending and accompanying the National Ministries in the region to improve and develop its capacity.
