Description

Yarin is a nine-year-old girl who has lived with her aunt since her father was sent to prison six years ago, when she was only three. Their home is a ramshackle wooden house with a barren cement floor, and Yarin’s aunt has been providing for her. Over 20% of people in Costa Rica live in poverty, and prisoners’ children like Yarin are desperately in need of a helping hand. As Yarin’s sponsor, you’ll help provide nutritious food, healthcare, and an opportunity to learn more about God’s love. Yarin is in fifth grade and she attends church weekly. With your help, she’ll continue in school to learn the skills she needs for a better life.
