Sakada is a little Cambodian boy whose father is in prison. His mother wants the best for her sons, but struggles to feed and clothe him by herself. They live in a simple wooden house with a thatched roof. Sakada enjoys playing and dancing. In spite of the deprivations they experience, Sakada and his mother attend church regularly. As Sakada’s sponsor, you ensure that he receives the basics he needs to grow strong and healthy. He will also be able to attend school when he is older, learning skills to build a better life.
