The worst earthquake to hit Nepal in 80 years struck on Saturday, April 25. The death toll is rising into the thousands. The loss of life is staggering.
Prison Fellowship International has worked in Nepal for 25 years. Since the earthquake, we have had difficulty communicating with families in our Child Sponsorship Program due to limited connection with those living in remote communities. We are going into these communities now to reach the program families, assure their safety, and provide the help they need.
Please join us in praying for their safety.
We praise God for the hopeful reports that the children and staff in our three children’s homes are safe and that the buildings were spared serious damage. And we find solace in our faith that the Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble.
