Nanmarie Hockstra

Research Associate, Major Gifts

As Research Associate for Prison Fellowship International, Nanmarie Hockstra explores ways to best align donors to support the ministry’s work with prisoners, ex-prisoners, and their families. She enjoys learning about the history and interests of donors and finds satisfaction knowing she helps introduce caring individuals and foundations to the wonderful work of Prison Fellowship International.

Nanmarie brings eight years’ experience in the field of fundraising and development by providing grassroots fundraising services to clients in the nonprofit and education fields. She has written direct mail appeals and newsletters, conducted donor research, implemented and managed a donor database, and organized annual development campaigns. She also serves as the Board Development Chair for Ad Fontes Academy, a classical Christian school in Centreville, Virginia.

Nanmarie earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Spanish from Grove City College. She lives in Aldie, Virginia, with her husband and their four children. In her free time, Nanmarie enjoys volunteering for her children’s school and at her church, spending time with family, and enjoying the great outdoors.
